If you’re anything like me, you’ve taken on a number of new projects or started new hobbies as we’ve adjusted to a different way of life during the lockdown. For some people, this meant learning to perfect a homemade loaf of bread, taking online classes to learn a new skill, or (let’s be real) binging all that Netflix and Hulu had to offer.
Another thing that many, many people have taken on are home projects. That makes total sense; if you’re spending a lot more time at home, it’s easy to start noticing things that you can change or improve to optimize your time.
Here at Gainsight, we think the same should be true for your professional life and the technology that you use day-in and day-out. You should have the option to customize these tools to your preferences and ability to surface the top-priority actions and customer insights that are most relevant to you and your daily to-dos.
Introducing Gainsight Home
As Karl Rumelhart, Chief Product Officer, shared on today’s EVOLVE with Gainsight Product Launch Event, that’s exactly what we’re allowing you to do with Gainsight in our most recent release, Gainsight Home. To echo the sentiments he shared, we strongly believe that it’s not enough to continuously invent and introduce new capabilities. As the definitive leader in Customer Success, it’s up to us to continuously redefine the standard for Customer Success software – to provide customer-facing teams with the tools they need to deliver success to their customers, and the experience that will enable them to do this more easily and efficiently than ever before.
What I am most excited about from this release is the introduction of Gainsight Home – a personalized command center for Customer Success Managers (CSMs) that will significantly streamline your day-to-day customer management activities and enable you to maximize productivity. Keep reading for some of the top reasons I’m so excited about this, but first, here’s a sneak peek at Gainsight Home.
So, what’s all the hype about Gainsight Home? Here are a couple of things that excite me most about Home.
1. Your day-to-day task management is getting a MAJOR upgrade
Customer Success and Account Management teams typically have a lot on their plates – ensuring that your customers are realizing their desired outcomes so that you can power increasing retention and growth rates is no easy feat. There are a number of things that you need to do each day to manage a growing book of business. At the same time, you need the right information about your customers to be able to make the right decisions and have more informed and effective conversations with them.
While Gainsight provides all of these capabilities today, we wanted to kick our end users’ productivity up a notch and help customer-facing teams really simplify and streamline their day-to-day. We did this by centralizing all of your most important customer insights, engagements and to-dos all into a single view. And it’s more than just a view; Gainsight Home allows you to drive action and check things off your to-do list right from your home screen. Say ‘Hello’ to a new level of productivity!
2. We’re putting the power in the hands of CSMs
With Gainsight Home, Customer Success Managers (or any other person using our platform) have the power to create a command center that is really, truly personalized. We’re giving you the power to create your own custom workspace so that you can work more efficiently than ever.
Need a specific view of your portfolio? Easy. Want to see your highest-priority tasks alongside your customer insights? Done. Want to work through a playbook without leaving your Home screen? You got it.
Now, you don’t have to put in a request with CS Ops to build out a custom report or view. You have the power to build the view that’s right for you, and that will help you meet and exceed your retention and growth goals.
3. There’s so much more to come.
The introduction of Gainsight Home is just one of the ways we’ve evolved our platform recently to make managing your customers’ success simpler, and it’s just the beginning. We’ve got some exciting updates planned that will continue to raise the bar for customer success technology.
Stay tuned for future Evolve with Gainsight Product Launch events to learn about our latest renovations as soon as they’re available.
